On September 18, the Starks Network project applied by Glacier Blockchain was approved by the Web3 Foundation and officially entered the Web3 third-quarter funding list. It is reported that the Starks Network project is a zero-knowledge proof parachain based on zk-STARK technology, and it is committed to providing zero-knowledge proof services for other parachains in the Polkadot ecosystem. The core technology used is similar to the Cairo project designed by Israel's StarkWare company for Ethereum. Both of them use the zk-STARK to provide zero-knowledge verification services for general computing.
